We first met with Yaprak and Cengiz Uziş’s tasty food in the yard of a small stone house on a secret corner of Alaçatı. Few years later, they moved Kuytu to a refreshing spot on Alaçatı Port houses and eventually they settled in the center of Alaçatı, where they created a paradise-like garden. Kuytu offers a tasting menu that includes fried bread with cheese and garlic, salad prepared with fresh Aegean herbs and vegetables and olive oil based dishes, chicken paste with walnuts, artichoke stuffed with rice, rolled leaves stuffed with meat, lentil balls, eggplant paste and a variety of delicious specialties such as fillet steak with eggplant paste and chicken.
