Take Five is the new gem of Alaçatı. Our friend Cihangir’s jazz & coffee & art & aesthetic taste and accumulation, meets with Ayeşgül’s cheerful & genuine hospitality at this zestful café & jazz bar.
In this spacious loft style stone building, you can hang out all day long. Mornings start with healty breakfast bites, fresh vegetable & fruit juices and smoothies. You can read your book or relax with your friends while drinking coffee throughout the day. And at nights you can enjoy delightful jazz music, wines and small bites. During the weekend nights live jazz bands are playing, during the weekdays various jazz playlists are also enjoyable.
At Take Five they serve 3rd wave coffee. The skillful baristas Ali & Talha brew tasteful coffees and serve them like artworks with scrumptious foam designs. The coctails – especially espresso martini – are original and zestful.
We also love the San-cha’s masala green tea, oolong, apple & cinnamon, and Dilmah’s acai berry & pomegranade, lime & orange, rose & vanilla flavored infusion teas.
You can also appreciate the inspiring art works on the walls and even buy the ones you love. In brief, Take Five became our new haven in Alaçatı the minute it opened.
During the weekends you can enjoy live jazz with Yavuz & Mustafa Darıdere brothers accompanied by Meg Davis’ vocals. You can check other live performances & bands via their instagram page.
Lets hear what the owner says about Take Five:
A wise man said once, ‘Life is what happens between coffee and wine’. We add ‘drink the best you can, you will do fine’. A great cup of coffee at the start of the day and a fine glass of wine at the end may not guarantee all the accomplishments in between but may give you the stamina to endure in the face of obstacles and to celebrate when you succeed. That is what we offer at TAKE FIVE: Good music, inspiring pieces of art and good company with great coffee, cocktails and wine.
As you can catch from the name, jazz is our passion. Famous American musician Wynton Marsalis says ‘jazz is a conversation between a group of musician in a special language. It is sometimes a negotiation, a debate but always in good spirit, friendly and cooperative. We invite our guests to take part in this conversation; sometimes in live concerts, sometimes over the tunes selected from our collection of almost 5000 jazz albums.
TAKE FIVE is designed to be a ‘feel good’ place. Join us to share the joy over great coffee, arts and drinks.
