‘An experience at the heart of nature at Vadi Alaçatı’

Vadi Alaçatı, a paradise for nature-lovers, is one of the pioneers of ecological tourism in the region, only 5 kilometers away from Alaçatı. As soon as you pass the Surfers Bay, you will see Vadi Alaçatı overlooking the sea from the hill, built on a vast piece of land.

The hotel is located in an area surrounded by juniper, pine, oak, carob, olive trees, indigenous herbs like blueberries, wild strawberries, oregano & chamomile. Vadi means “valley” in English, so it comes as no surprise that the hotel, which offers 19 wooden bungalows with their own gardens or fields, is located in a valley. Vadi Alaçatı also has camping areas, vineyards, fields where watermelon, zucchini, tomato, pepper and other species are grown, a heart-shaped lavender field, beehives, two ponds, hiking trails, and a total of 7500 olive trees.

Vadi Alaçatı is an eco-friendly oasis. The owners produce their own electricity with solar energy panels, distill water for drinking and harvest the land without chemical use – all according the principle of doing agriculture with zero carbon footprint. Vadi Alaçatı is the outcome of great labor, care, patience, thought and love of Bülent Özcan, who left Istanbul years ago and settled here.

Özcan has designed every corner of the place with great care – all plants are hand-picked and observed every growing stage of the crops. This inspiring and unusual place, which calls for the people who have “positive energy & good heart and want to meet nature”, gives us hope by reminding that it is possible to enjoy life through a different, positive, natural, intimate window.

Give them a call if you want to have homemade breakfast with handmade bread, cheese, yoghurt, honey, olives – all produced here at the valley, delight yourself with pizza or casserole from the wooden oven under the stars and have a unique vacation in which you can surrender yourself to nature.
