Once you enter Le Grenadine, you get the feeling of being at ‘the right place at the right time’. La Grenadine Hotel, previously a mansion, had a French owner who spent many years of his life here. The place was then transformed into a hotel under new owners while keeping its spirit. This hundred-year-old mansion with a beautiful yard is located in the middle of Alacati’s cozy streets, so you can feel the Aegean breeze all over the hotel. The rooms are carefully decorated with white nets over the beds which creates a romantic and fairy-tale-like ambiance. The Authentic Alaçatı breakfast they serve, made with local and organic ingredients, is truly unforgettable.

Ala Hotel was reborn from the ruins of a one-room stone house which was a present to a son from a migrant father who had come to Alacati during the population exchange years. Today, dedicated to the father by his son, Ala Hotel with its 16 rooms is located in Alacati’s urban protected area where historical structures are carefully preserved. The hotel is a contemporary interpretation of Alacati’s tradition of stone houses with oriel windows. Located right at the center of the Alacati Village in a 1000 square meter protected land, the hotel, with its inner garden and court; creates a difference with the handmade furniture brought all the way from the Indonesia Islands. The garden, bringing together Mediterranean and the tropical flora invites the visitors to peaceful and pleasant hours by the pool. Ala Hotel is one of the few hotels that has a swimming pool with Alacati’s historic fabric in the background. Each room is decorated in an individual fashion that includes unique details. Surrounded by lavender, jasmine, lotus, bougainvillea and hydrangea flowers, Ala Hotel offers a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.

Sailors Bahçe (Garden), a place with a spirit and story, is the oldest hotel in Alaçatı, right across the main village square. Although a small hotel, it’s charming and lovely enough to transform your holiday into a very pleasant one with its great location at the heart of the village. Rooms at the beautiful Sailors Hotel has basic, simple, classical-style furnishings, satellite LCD TV and air conditioning.

If you prefer having a little more “privacy” or staying at a homely atmosphere with a couple of friends for a week or longer, we would recommend booking Sailors Ev (House), which is a private serviced house. Sailors Ev is an oasis in Alaçatı with a wonderful lush garden in an excellent setting for peaceful private holidays.

Sailors Ev is a 5 minute walk away from Alaçatı center, shops and restaurants.

Alya Ruzgari Hotel’s stone building with a big courtyard offers all that one can expect from a stay in Alaçatı. All the rooms and suites are decorated elegantly and they are named after winds. The guests can enjoy traditional breakfast with fresh home made pastries, jams and local products from the garden or the fresh ingredients from the local bazaar.

alacati-tashmahal-otel-11

Tashmahal is housed in one of the most magnificent historical mansions in Alacati. Ayça and Serhat Çitoğlu first saw the building when it was a ruin, fell in love with it, bought the mansion, and transformed it into an amazing hotel through a comprehensive renovation process. It has the perfect location; walking distance to Hacı Memiş and the village center, yet in a very quiet street away from the hustle and bustle. The couple was inspired by Taj Mahal while designing and naming the hotel, hence the rooms feature Indian eclectic touches. Each room is unique; one has and old oven inside, one a mezzanine or one features a living room. The honeymoon room is the perfect choice for a remarkable stay. The original mosaics of ‘podima’ stones in the garden are one of a kind. Besides being a beautiful hotel, the welcoming and hospitable team also adds to the experience. Ruhsar at reception, Fidan in the kitchen, Cemil at welcoming, and their lovely cat ‘Agril’ create a warm, homely atmosphere. Turkish ravioli and ‘menemen’ (scrambled eggs with tomato) cooked by Fidan, and the team’s homemade mulberry, sour cherry, carrot, strawberry, quince and citron (citrus fruits from the hotel’s garden trees) jams are very delicious – which you can also buy at the tiny shop at the reception. Tasmahal’s courtyard serves as a cozy breakfast space during the mornings and Alaçatı’s most famous – our favorite – restaurant, Agrilila, takes over in the evenings. Definitely spare a night for Agrilia, and do not miss chef Melih Teksen’s delicious recipes.

Placed in a five hundred square meter lush garden, Umit Ev Hotel’s main highlight is its typical Greek-style stone building and the rooms decorated in white and turquoise. The hotel is in a perfect location as the cozy streets of the village are only 500 metres away. The authentic Turkish breakfast served consists of home made jams, cheese, local olives and vegetables from the hotel’s garden.

peremere

One of the newcomers in Alaçatı –  and already among our list of favorites.

A family business with friendly faces, where all the details including decoration, architectural design, paintings chosen and flower arrangements are taken care of by the family members. Everything the hotel has to offer; from homemade jams to cherry liqueur are, again, made by them.

Surrounded by a beautiful green garden, the place offers a comfortable stay in elegantly decorated rooms with white curtains & wonderful illustrations. A bright blue swimming pool, corners with couches, a comprehensive breakfast, snacks from ‘Yaya Raw’ – the healthy vegan snacks company owned by the family, a chill music that adds to the cozy atmosphere are among the highlights of the hotel.

In short – a dreamy world created with great care; offering joy, excitement, lovely flavors and a peaceful atmosphere.
